The purpose of this website is to provide a means for
Association members to obtain and to contribute information
pertaining to the Brentwood Hills Association and community.
This effort was initiated as a result of several events and the
realization that the current Board of Directors' diligence in
informing members is considered poor and unbecoming that of
any representative body. Moreover, it is also believed that the
Board of Directors do not understand the ByLaws, Covenents, and
Florida Statutes as they pertain to the Brentwood Hills HOA. This
bellief was derived from several actions by the Board that were in direct conflict with
one or more ByLaws, Covenents, and/or Florida Statutes. It is felt that
ignorance of the ByLaws, Covenents, and Florida Statutes is no excuse ...
especially for a Board member.
Please do not look at this website or its newsletters as a medium
for bashing anyone. I am mearly trying to provide a mechanism for
Association members to have a place to go for information. I will make
every effort to provide information that is objective and fair ... something the Board
has shown they have a difficult time doing ... There will be "corners" sections
that are not edited for objectivity and the comments and information in the "corners"
sections can be possibly considered as more subjective. The Board has shown
its willingness to operate as non-informing body that believes that serving on the
board provides them rights outside of the HOA ByLaws, Covenents, and Florida
Statutes. Communications is Power ... and with a "communications medium"
I am hoping that more Association members will be informed and possibly even
participate more in how their Association is run and how their money is spent.
